The Family Star application acts as the data controller.

2. Data Collected

Our application collects the following data:

Account information: Name, email address (from Google/Apple account)
Profile information: Display name, profile photo
Usage data: Task completion, points, and badge information
Family information: Family group membership details

For child users (under 18):

Only nickname and age range (6-8, 9-11, 12-14) are collected
Email, phone number, or identification information is NOT collected
Location data is NOT collected

3. Purpose of Data Use

Collected data is used solely for:

Providing application services
Operating task management and gamification features
Sending notifications
Improving application performance

4. Data Sharing

Your personal data is not shared with third parties. Data is only:

Stored securely on Firebase (Google LLC) infrastructure
May be shared with authorities when legally required

5. Data Security

All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (TLS/SSL)
Access control is provided through Firebase security rules
Photos are stored encrypted and automatically deleted after 30 days

6. Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

To learn whether personal data is being processed
To request information about processed personal data
To request correction of personal data
To request deletion or destruction of personal data
To object to outcomes arising from automated analysis

7. Account Deletion

You can delete your account from Settings > Account > Delete My Account. Account deletion is irreversible and all your data will be permanently deleted.
